The Silent 90%: Why Appreciation Might Not Always Be Vocal (But Your Impact Endures)

Leading a ministry can be incredibly rewarding. You witness lives transformed, hearts healed, and burdens lifted.

Yet, sometimes, a nagging question can arise: where's the appreciation? Out of the countless people you've helped, only a few seem to express sincere gratitude.

This can be disheartening. After all, Jesus healed ten lepers, and only one returned to say thank you. But take heart, leaders! This isn't a reflection of your efforts, but rather a human tendency we encounter throughout scripture and ministry.

My wife and I understand this firsthand. Our anointing on marriage has played a major role in the number of supernatural connections we've witnessed from people gathered around our teachings. Singles miraculously find their helpmates, and yet, they never once say thank you or recognize the vessel in which God used to produce this.

Here's a perspective shift to consider:

The Wise and the Unwise: The one who returns is like the "wise" individual – they recognize the source of their blessing and express thankfulness. But the other 90%, the "unwise," might not fully grasp the magnitude of your anointing, the depth of your sacrifice, or the power of your leadership. This is due to limitations within themselves, not a lack on your part.

Beyond Words: Just because appreciation isn't always vocal doesn't mean it's absent. Lives transformed, families restored, and communities strengthened are testaments to your impact. Your leadership sets ripples of change in motion, creating a lasting legacy that extends far beyond spoken words.

The Full Blessing: The passage mentions the importance of receiving the "full blessing." Think of your ministry as a bridge, connecting people to a deeper connection with God. While some might not acknowledge you, their journey towards wholeness begins with the foundation you provide.

Leading with Grace: Remember, leadership isn't about seeking accolades. It's about serving with a shepherd's heart, guiding your flock with love, dedication, and unwavering faith. Find your fulfillment in the act of service itself, knowing the true reward lies in serving God and witnessing his transformative power in the lives you touch.

Go in peace, leaders! ️ Your dedication, even in the face of silent appreciation, is vital and your impact undeniable.
